The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Maria I. Plunk, 33, of Adamsville, Tennessee, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for larceny-stealing.

Summonses

  • John G. Rogers-Lebcowitz, 23, of Jackson was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Clayton L. Anderson, 27, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for violation of a steady traffic signal, crossing the center lane of travel, improper turn, speeding and failure to stop at a stop sign.

  • Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 3440 Lowes Drive.
  • Theft of a stun gun, cooler, money and miscellaneous items from a motor vehicle was reported.
  • Stealing/fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.
  • Theft of vehicle paperwork was reported at 1925 New Madrid St.

Assault

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Property damage

  • Damage to a fence and gate were reported at 1304 Broadway.
  • Yard damage was reported on Bristle Ridge.

Miscellaneous

  • A 48-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • Passing bad checks was reported at Regions Bank, 101 S. Mount Auburn Road.
