DWI

* A subject was in custody, pending the filing of formal charges, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.

Arrests

* Thomas D. Evans, Jr., 20, of Bellwood, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of murder.

* Alexander K. Walker, 24, 1528 N. Water St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear in court for stealing, contempt of court, striking a parked vehicle and driving while suspended.

* Heather E. Kinder, 30, 316 S. Lorimier St., Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart, 3439 William St.

* A male subject was taken into custody pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance.

* A subject was taken into custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest and driving with a revoked license.

* A juvenile was taken into custody for shoplifting at Spencer Gifts, 3049 Wiliam St.

* A subject was taken into custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest.

* Pearl L. Parker, 35, 925 William St., was arrested for shoplifting at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

* Evan D. Tillman, age not given, 392 Country Lane, Jackson, was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear in court on a charges of larceny. tampering with a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident.

* A juvenile was in custody on suspicion of stealing and resisting arrest.

* Brenda K. Benton, 53, 621 Sycamore, was arrested on a Jasper County warrant for passing bad checks.

* Terrance S. Howard, 19, 121 East Rodney Drive, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear on a warrant for driving while suspended.

* Charles A. Perkins, 28, of Portageville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.

* Michael R. White, age not given, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.

* A subject was in custody, pending the filing of formal charges, on suspicion of manufacturing and possesion of a controlled substance, attempt to manufacture controlled substance, domestic assault, forcible rape and sodomy, felonious restraint and resisting arrest.

* Terrisha J. Lee, 26, address not given, was arrested on suspicion of a probation violation.

* Lydia L. Lockridge, 22, 229 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

* Sheraton M. Lockridge, 20, 229 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on 11 Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

* Cobret L. Joe, 23, 423 S. Frederick St. was arrested.

Miscellaneous

* A 31-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A 40-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A 47-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A protection order was reported violated.
