The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of violating a protection order.

* John Anthony Oliver, 27, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway.

* Candice Brooke Henesee, 30, 2813 Whitener St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and possession with intent to produce a controlled substance.

Summonses

* Beverly Ann Ervin, 59, 1426 Parkmor Drive, received a summons for selling alcohol to a minor.

* Phillip Michael Prater, 28, of McClure, Ill., received a summons for selling alcohol to a minor.

* Bobby Eugene Smith, 30, 2825 Whitener St., received a summons for selling alcohol to a minor.

* Janette Commean, 62, 419 North St., received a summons for failure to keep private property free of litter.

* Winston O. Williford, 52, 188 Oneida St., received a summons for failure to maintain property free of high grass.

Assaults

* An assault was reported.

* Three domestic assaults were reported.

Thefts

* Two robberies were reported.

* Electronics and jewelry were reported stolen at 606 S. Silver Springs Road.

* Checks were reported stolen at 124 N. Henderson Ave.

* A tractor tire rim, leaf shredder, beam, pipe harness and camper shell were reported stolen at 1520 N. Water St.

Property damage

* A vehicle's paint was reported scratched at 810 College St.

* A vehicle was reported scratched at 1419 Whitener St.

Miscellaneous

* A 44-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

* Possession of marijuana and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.
