The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving without a license.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges and a juvenile has been cited into juvenile court for tampering with a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, making a false report, possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid license.

* Anthony G. Wade, 42, 1032 N. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a traffic offense.

* Charles L. Shipman, 42, 1226 Harmony Lane, Apt. 1, was arrested on a Scott County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

Thefts

* Theft of an iPhone 5 was reported at 4700 Cord Way.

* Theft of license plates was reported at Cape Tractor Trailer, 900 S. Kingshighway.

* Theft from a motor vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported at 716 N. Sunset St.

Property damage

* Speed limit signs were reported damaged at 109 Green Acres Drive.

Summonses

* Greg J. Deprow, 40, 2519 Horseshoe Ridge, was issued a summons for excessive weed growth.

* Robert E. Breeding, no age given, 1030 Merriwether St., was issued a summons for striking a lawfully parked vehicle.

* Valerie R. Davis, no age given, 1030 N. Cape Rock Drive, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Andrew D. Van Amburg, 41, 1451 Whitener St., was issued a summons for DWI, failure to drive on right half of road and no insurance.

Miscellaneous

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* Request for service was reported.
