Cape Girardeau police report 7/25/17

CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance at South Pacific and Hackberry streets.
• Courtney B. Hudson, 26, 801 Good Hope St., was charged with assault and property damage at 1625 N. Kingshighway.
• Ymani E. Brown, 25, 175 W. Forester Drive, was arrested at East Rodney Drive and Independence Street on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

Summons

• Tabitha A. Bond, 38, of Scott City was issued a summons for shoplifting at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.

Assaults

• Domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon were reported in the 800 block of South Benton Street.
• Assault was reported at 19 N. Water St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 2826 Whitener St.
• Property damage was reported at 2004 Dunklin St.

Miscellaneous

• Arson was reported at 3007 Themis St.
• Interference with custody was reported in the 500 block of South Sprigg Street.
• A 48-year-old man was taken into protective custody in the 1700 block of Cape Meadows Circle.
• Assist other agency was reported.
