The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Galen M. Yeargain, 31, 31, of 1718 Carolina Lane, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Lawrence G. Robinson, 41, 315 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* James C. Poindexter, 19, 1205 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

* David A. Weber, 36, of Scott City was issued a summons for a fence/sign violation.

* Dale P. Lafont, 60, 2128 William St., Apt. 199, was issued a summons for oil/storm-water violation.

Burglary

* Burglary, property damage and a violation of an order of protection were reported.

Thefts

* A wallet was reported stolen at 3010 Mimosa Drive.

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 304 Mill St.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 915 Fountain St.

* Medication was reported stolen at 905 Chestnut St.

* Nearly Perfect Shoes, 209 S. Kingshighway, reported shoes stolen.

* A dryer was reported stolen at 1110 S. Ellis St.

* Cape County Transit, 937 Broadway, reported cab coupons stolen.

* Clothing, medication, headphones, a necklace and badges were reported stolen at 17 Rivercrest Drive, No. 105.

* Rhodes, 1624 Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

Property damage

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 410 Marie St.

Miscellaneous

* Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.

* A 36-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* An 18-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A child being beyond parental control was reported.
