CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Emily Schlegel, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

• Josh Kimbrel, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
• Cheryl Evans, 44, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for improper lane usage and driving on a suspended license.
• A suspect was arrested on suspicion of driving on a revoked license and displaying the plates of another vehicle.

Assault

• Domestic assault was reported in the 500 block of North Fountain Street.

Thefts

• Motor vehicle theft was reported at 543 South Middle St.
• Motor vehicle theft was reported at 2121 Bessie St.
• Theft and resisting arrest were reported at 3439 William St. A suspect is in custody pending formal charges.

Miscellaneous

• Fraud was reported at 1900 N. Kingshighway.
