Arrests

  • Armetrice F. Harris, 23, and Dmarie E. Stevenson, 56, both of 426 N. Frederick St., were arrested on suspicion of stealing food items at Sav-A-Lot, 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • Ronnie L. Bass, 50, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Deborah D. Fletcher, 51, of Murphysboro, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing and miscellaneous items at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • Cassandra L. Morris, 26, of Sullivan, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing miscellaneous items at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Daniel S. Reeves, 26, no address given, was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing a cellphone at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

  • Torri C. Schumacker, 37, of Jackson was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Eric L. Newkirk Jr., no age given, of Metropolis, Illinois, was issued a summons for improper lane usage.

Thefts

  • A chainsaw was reported stolen at 3036 Keystone Drive.
  • A mountain bike was reported stolen at 701 N. Sprigg St.
  • Shoplifting was reported at Sav-A-Lot, 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • A stereo receiver and DVD home theater system were reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 2 N. Main St.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 311 Louis St.
  • Prescription medication was reported stolen.
  • Shoplifting was reported at Gaming Grounds, 709 Broadway.

  • A 34-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • Forgery was reported at Cape Girardeau Surgical Clinic.

Arrests

  • Bradley A. Nielsen, 53, of Burfordville was arrested on suspicion of burglary and stealing.
  • Charles A. Dixon, 44, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of distributing, delivery, manufacturing and producing controlled substance -- marijuana.
  • Carrie A. Naeger, 39, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of distributing, delivery, manufacturing and producing controlled substance -- marijuana.
  • Blake L. Newman, 22, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for a probation violation and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Devonce C. Patterson, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for robbery.
  • Veronia L. Schearf, 32, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • Patrick A. Kiefer, 36, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.
