The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Michael D. Johnson, 20, of Malden, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for trespassing.

* Beverly A. Ford, 45, 3353 Old Route V, was arrested on an Alexander County, Ill., warrant for 11 counts of forgery and a Texas warrant for a parole violation.

* Terra J. Jerolds, 24, of Dongola, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of identity theft.

* Deandre Betts, 21, 624 S. Benton St., was arrested on a state warrant for a probation violation.

* Cedric Royce Rucker, 28, 1223 College St., was arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery.

* Luke Bertrand Richardson, 48, 116 N. Spring St., Apt. 8, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a probation violation.

Assaults

* A domestic assault was reported.

* A sexual assault was reported.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* Kidd's, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.

* Money, a camcorder and assorted jewelry were reported stolen at 2845 Themis St.

* Checks were reported stolen at 304 Mill St.

* A cellphone was reported stolen and a vehicle's window was reported shattered at 113 Broadway.

Property damage

* The Cape Girardeau School District, 1000 S. Silver Springs Road, reported turf spraypainted.

* A door was reported damaged at 301 N. Pacific St.

Miscellaneous

* A 28-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 25-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Child abuse was reported.
