Arrests

  • Skylar S. Simpson, 22, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing miscellaneous merchandise at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Jason H. Grigsby, 49, 2818 Whitener St., was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts/noises.
  • Antonio L. Long, 26, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Summons

  • Taylor R. Jones, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to stop at a red light.

  • Clothing was reported stolen at Macy's, 3049 William St.
  • Two amps were reported stolen and a driver's side vehicle window was reported damaged at 522 Terry Lane.
  • A briefcase and snap-on tool box was reported stolen at 2005 Old Sprigg Street Road.

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Deviate sexual assault was reported.
  • Domestic assault was reported.

Property damage

  • A window was reported damaged at 1215 William St.
  • Scratches on a vehicle were reported at 2819 Whitener St.
  • A window and trim were reported damaged at 523 N. Fountain St.

Miscellaneous

  • Forgery was reported.
  • A 53-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • Counterfeiting was reported.
