Cape Girardeau police report 7/15/11

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Marlin P. Shaw, 19, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Johnathan Ellis, 23, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Lamonte D. Cole, 27, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Keivyan D. Ellis, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Amber L.N. Swader, 27, 415 Bellevue St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a peace disturbance.

* Jessie D. Alvey, 25, of St. Ann, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

Theft

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

Burglary

* Medication was reported stolen from 1201 Good Hope St.

Miscellaneous

* A 21-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
