CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of tampering with a motor vehicle.

* Jonnisha J. Bridges, 25, 313 N. Fountain St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault on a law enforcement officer.

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of property damage.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of a weapon.

* Chrystal Harris, 21, 16 N. Henderson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* Sarah B. Wilferth, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for leaving the scene.

* Susan K. Totty, no age given, of New Madrid, Missouri, was issued a summons for making an illegal turn.

* Richard E. Geiger, 39, of Benton, Missouri, was issued a summons for driving while revoked.

* Lyric L. Jones, 18, 1060 W. Cape Rock Drive, was issued a summons for failing to follow a lawful direction.

* Ronald P. Haegele, 51, of St. Louis was issued a summons for indecent exposure.

* Jo E. Hawn, no age given, 602 Redbud Circle, was issued a summons for improper turn.

* Joice A. Whitby-Welcome, no age given, 101 S. Pacific St., No. 010, was issued a summons for striking a lawfully parked vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident.

Thefts

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported stealing.

* A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 211 Saint Francis Drive.

* Stealing was reported at 515 S. Sprigg St.

* AmerenUE reported theft of services at 27 S. Henderson Ave.

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 207 Mill St.

* Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported stealing.

* Two tires and wheels were reported stolen at 45 S. West End Boulevard.

Burglaries

* Top Metal Buyer, 622 S. Kingshighway, reported burglary.

* E-liquid for e-cigarettes was reported stolen at 11 S. Ellis St.

Assault

* Assault was reported at 210 S. Hanover St.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 1105 Independence St.

* Scratches on a vehicle were reported at 415 Sheridan Drive.

* A passenger window was reported damaged and checks were reported stolen at 2789 Independence St.

Robbery

* Robbery was reported.

Miscellaneous

* Driving in a careless and imprudent manner, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle were reported at Maple and Ellis streets.

* Assist other agency was reported.

* Sexual exploitation of a minor was reported.

* Passing a bad check was reported.

* A 52-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Animal nuisance was reported at 1555 Bunker Hill.

* James E. Adams, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Jontai A. Welch, 29, of Cairo, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less marijuana.

* Laura J. Hogeland, 39, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.

* Angelisa Gl Arenas, 33, of Jackson was arrested on an Otero County, New Mexico, warrant for violation of a court order.

* Andrew T. Johnson, 25, of Benton, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended.

* Jerry W. Simpkins, 26, of Scott City, was arrested on a Chaffee, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked.

* Jordy W. Collins, 25, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.
