The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* Kelly G. Smith, 41, 418 Sheridan Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license and no headlights when required.
Arrests
* Robert D. Byrd, 48, 904 Fountain St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
* Christopher P. Moore, 25, 2444 Lisa Drive, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of meth precursors.
* Jacky F. Battles, 35, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Butler County warrant for a probation violation.
* Lorenzo Tate Jr., 22, 211 S. Park Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a probation violation.
* A subject was in custody pending charges of hindering prosecution.
* A subject was in custody pending charges of kidnapping.
Summonses
* Dianne L. Sheppard, 54, 1829 Old Sprigg St., received a summons for assault.
* Kayla M. Whitney, 17, 1902 Longview Drive, received a summons for shoplifting at Macy's, 3049 William St.

* An assault was reported.
* An assault with unlawful use of a weapon was reported.

Thefts
* Kidds, 1325 Broadway, reported alcohol stolen.
* Electronics were reported stolen at 1565 N. Kingshighway.
* A firearm was reported stolen at 1409 Brookshire Road.
* Sunglasses were reported stolen at 211 St. Francis Drive.
* Bi-State, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
* License plates were reported stolen at 45 S. West End Blvd.
* Electronics, keys and a purse were reported stolen at 1330 N. Sprigg St.
* A wallet was reported stolen at 10 S. Spanish St.
* Assorted plants were reported stolen at 910 S. Kingshighway.
Property damage
* A window was reported damaged at 210 S. Hanover St.
* A door was damaged at 316 S. Lorimier St., where an air conditioner was also reported stolen.
Burglary
* An attempted burglary was reported at 1242 Sailer Circle.
Miscellaneous
* A 26-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A 49-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A 47-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* Prohibited acts were reported.
* A 41-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
* A 42-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
