The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Rodney D. Smith, 27, 944 Fort St., was arrested on suspicion of tampering with physical evidence.
  • Herman J. Gardner, 28, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested at 927 Perry Ave. on a Union County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear for illegal transportation of alcohol.
  • Abdullah M. Aldehali, 24, 1970 N. Sprigg St., was arrested at 1970 N. Sprigg St. on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for no operator's license and improper registration and a Perry County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for no operator's license.
  • Jennifer T. Burton, 31, 1433 Cousin St., was arrested at 1236 Meadowbrook Lane on a Cape Girardeau warrant for revoked license and a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for failure to pay fine.
  • Mansour A. Alhabawdal, 24, 1218 Dunklin St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for prohibited acts -- noise disturbance.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported at 1433 Good Hope St.
  • Domestic assault was reported at 622 Broadway.
  • Third-degree assault was reported at 1131 N. Kingshighway.

Theft

  • Two license plates were reported stolen at 821 William St.

Property damage

  • Kirn Plumbing and Heating reported damage to a chain-link fence was reported at Merriwether and Louis streets.

Miscellaneous

  • Forgery was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 1200 N. West End Blvd.
  • A 48-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A 22-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
