DWI

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated at Broadway and U.S. 61.

Arrests

  • Anthony R. Bell, 33, 128 S. Park Ave., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to yield and no insurance.
  • Nathan J. Hinojosa, 17, 2224 Bloomfield St., was arrested in the 2500 block of Maria Louise Lane on suspicion of assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
  • Candace F. Hunter, 38, 2010 Brink Ave., was arrested at Caruthers Avenue and Independence Street on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

Thefts

  • Theft was reported at 1625 Bloomfield St.
  • Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 45 S. West End Blvd.
  • Theft, property damage and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported at 1221 Good Hope St.
  • Theft and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported at 523 S. Minnesota Ave.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at Vision House, 10 N. Middle St.
  • Property damage was reported at 11 S. Spanish St.

Miscellaneous

  • Counterfeiting was reported at Academy Sports, 270 Shirley Drive.
  • An incorrigible juvenile was reported in the 2500 block of Maria Louise Lane.
  • Endangering the welfare of a child was reported in the 500 block of North Fountain Street.
