CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Thomas J. Easly, 29, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for a moving traffic violation.
• Jamin B. Wentz, 18, 2811 Hilldale Circle, was arrested on a Rolla, Missouri, warrant for burglary.
• Rocky B. Jerls, 24, of Whitewater was arrested on a Jefferson City, Missouri, warrant for a probation violation.

Thefts

• The theft of a tile saw and floor tile were reported at Lowe's, 3440 Lowes Drive.
• The theft of a firearm was reported at 1701 Lacey St.
• An iPhone was reported stolen at 1912 Broadway.

Burglary

• Burglary and the theft of money and a black 2013 Chrysler were reported at Cape Auto Sales, 1238 Meadowbrook Lane.

Miscellaneous

• A 61-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• An animal leash law violation was reported at 35 S. Park Ave.
• Harassment was reported.
• A 58-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
