  • Matthew W. Taylor, 22, 623 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.
  • Two suspects were in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
  • John W. Brooks, 31, of Glenallen, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of property damage at 211 Saint Francis Drive.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of failure to signal, a stop-sign violation and driving while revoked.
  • Cortez Detree Bell, 37, 420 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a warrant for dangerous drugs.
  • Maurice Braxton, 55, 2830 Independence St., was arrested on a warrant for traffic offenses.

Summons

  • Faron A. Johnson, no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for running a red light.

Thefts

  • A purse was reported stolen at 6 Girardeau Court.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • An iPhone was reported stolen and a motor vehicle tampered with at 319 Park Drive.

Burglaries

  • Window screens were reported damaged and money was reported stolen at 1936 Broadway.
  • A screen was reported damaged and a postage scale was reported stolen at 720 Forest Ave.
  • A door and faucet were reported damaged, walls were reported spray-painted and a car stereo was reported stolen at 646 Terry Lane.
  • A door was reported damaged and cigarettes and a hand-held gaming system were reported stolen at 105 N. Clark Ave.
