CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Tray Lemar Rice, 21, of 137 S. Spanish St., Apt. 2, was arrested at 45 S. West End Blvd. on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

Summonses

* Sherry L. Niederbrach, no age given, 2563 Ranchito Drive, was issued a summons for no insurance and failing to maintain a single lane.

* Robert E. Sawyer, no age given, 1601 N. Clark Ave., was issued a summons for improper backing.

* Jesse W. Mahan, no age given, 815 Sharon Drive, was issued a summons for failure to yield the right of way.

Thefts

* A Samsung Note 2 telephone was reported stolen at 545 S. Spring St.

* Macy's, 3049 William St., reported clothing stolen.

* A suspect was in custody for stealing at 2640 Hopper Road.

* A spare tire was reported stolen at 1721 Cape Meadows Circle.

* A purse and stereo accessories were reported stolen at 612 Locust St.

Property damage

* Scratches on a vehicle side door were reported at 232 S. Ellis St.

* Damage to an entry door was reported at 2613 Perryville Road.

Miscellaneous

* A 48-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A request for service was reported.
