Arrests

  • Lola Ann Cox, no age given, of Whitewater was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Sharita L. Sanders, 24, 714 S. Ellis St., was arrested at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for forgery.
  • Markeeis L. Heard, 21, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was arrested at 724 Themis St. on a Pemiscot County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for presenting false identification.
  • Valerie I. Estes, 30, 612 Boxwood Drive, No. 24, was arrested at 2850 Whitener St. on a Cape Girardeau warrant for violating steady signal and a Wright County, Missouri, warrant for dangerous drugs.
  • Jeremy A. Penrose, 29, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper turn and driving while revoked.
  • Christopher L. Franklin, 30, of Jackson was arrested at 2004 Broadway on a Cole County, Missouri, warrant for fraud.

Summonses

  • Kori Allen Grove, 20, of Jonesboro, Illinois, was issued summonses for being a minor in possession of alcohol and unlawful use of a license.
  • Domonique Johnson, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for driving without a license and red-light violation at Route K and Mount Auburn Road.
  • Robert D. Garrity, 39, homeless, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia at Independence Street and Keller Avenue.

Assaults

  • Second-degree assault was reported at 1444 Independence St.
  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault was reported at 1701 Lacey St.

  • Burglary and theft were reported at 1006 Jefferson Ave.
  • Buglary and theft were reported at 2817 Themis St.
  • Burglary and theft of numerous items were reported at 2568 Lisa Drive.

Thefts

  • Theft was reported at 811 Hickory St.
  • Theft was reported at 2850 Whitener St.
  • Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 9 N. Benton St.
  • Money was reported stolen at 19 Garnett Lane.
  • Clothing, a stereo and a backpack were reported stolen from a motor vehicle at 1929 Delwin St.
  • An iPhone, stereo and an assortment of tools were reported stolen from a motor vehicle at 2568 Lisa Drive.
  • Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 1927 N. Kingshighway.
  • A wallet and its contents were reported stolen at 829 Themis St.
  • A purse and its contents were reported stolen at 224 N. Park Ave.
  • License-plate tabs were reported stolen at 319 N. Frederick St.
  • A kayak was reported stolen at 1111 Landgraf Drive.

Property damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged on a parking lot at Lowe's, 3440 Lowes Drive.
  • Property damage was reported at 903 S. Pacific St.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 1435 Brucher Drive.
  • A window was reported damaged at 1546 Big Bend Road.

Miscellaneous

  • A runaway juvenile was reported at Washington Avenue and Fountain Street.
  • Possession of a controlled substance was reported at 1701 Lacey St.
  • A person was taken into protective custody at U.S. 61 and Boulder Crest Drive.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
