The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Kaylon J. Grubbs, 28, 27 N. Ellis St., Apt. 6, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear for traffic offenses.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • Steven E. Criddle, 34, 1440 N. Main St., was arrested on a Wayne County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear.
  • Daniel R. Peiper, 48, 324 William St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

Summonses

  • Gloria B. Neal, 47, of Sikeston, Missouri, was issued a summons for peace disturbance.
  • Amanda C. Smith, 33, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
  • Zackary L. Young, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for resisting arrest, exhibition driving and having an unlicensed vehicle.
  • Damon T. Batton, 25, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to identify as a witness.
  • Kristian D. Baine, no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for no insurance and striking a legally stopped vehicle.

Burglaries

  • Burglary and the theft of credit cards and a flat-screen TV were reported were reported at 2825 Bloomfield Road.
  • Burglary and the theft of a Nintendo 3DS digital camera and a Kenwood car stereo were reported stolen at 31 N. Lorimier St.

Thefts

  • An air conditioner was reported stolen at Mott Goehman Rentals, 2965 County Road 638A.
  • Theft and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device were reported.
  • A pay stub, headphones and money were reported stolen and a vehicle door reported damaged at 820 Illinois St.
  • A laser was reported stolen at Keifner Brothers, 1459 N. Kingshighway.

  • Assault was reported.
  • Domestic assault was reported.

Property damage

  • A window pane was reported damaged at Budget Inn, 1448 N. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

  • A 24-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 23-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 21-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • Stalking was reported.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.
  • Forgery and passing a bad check were reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • Counterfeiting was reported.
  • A 47-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Terra E. Fowlkes, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for distribution of a controlled substance and two probation violations for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Christopher D. Overy, 28, of Oak Ridge was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, theft and second-degree property damage.
  • Zackary Stewart, 26, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, theft and second-degree property damage.
  • Trae C. Bell, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm.
  • John W. Clark Jr., 50, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
  • Dustin Proffer, 20, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of being a visibly intoxicated minor.
  • Steven J. Maxim, 32, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance except 32 grams or less of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to obey judge's orders for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.
  • Denise M. Pulley, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of assault on a law-enforcement officer and two counts of third-degree domestic assault.
  • Ryan M. McCormack, 29, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault, felonious restraint, rape and unlawful use of a weapon.
  • Carrie A. Naeger, 39, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Michelle K. Beal, 45, of Whitewater was arrested on suspicion of a violation of an order of protection.
  • Glinda J. Bartlett, 66, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault.
