The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Tonya M. Bruce, 40, of Perryville, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • David R. Smith, 30, of Scott City was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of methamphetamine.
  • Charles J. Tauser, 57, of Advance, Missouri, was arrested on a Butler County warrant for fraud, passing bad checks.
  • Melissa N. Mastropierro, 32, 1017 Bloomfield St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of sexual misconduct, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Adrian S. Cox, 25, 259 N. Park St., and Hannah E. Durham, 21, 547 Olive St., were arrested on suspicion of stealing assorted merchandise at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • Caleb W. Lee, 25, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for three counts of failure to appear.

Summonses

  • Brittany D. Henry, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for property damage at 623 Louis St.
  • Lynsea P. Casey, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.
  • Ricky L. Sparks, 61, 1111 Giboney Ave., was issued a summons for a nuisance violation.

  • A bicycle seat was reported stolen at 2021 Independence St.
  • Tools were reported stolen at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
  • Money was reported stolen at 933 N. Lorimier St.
  • A cellphone, Social Security card, money and checkbook were reported stolen and a vehicle reported damaged at 2867 Whitener St.
  • A cellphone was reported stolen at 1024 William St.

Burglaries

  • Burglary was reported at 338 Edgewood Road.
  • Propane tanks, bed linens, a guitar and case were reported stolen at 414 Commercial St.

  • Domestic assault and stealing were reported.

Miscellaneous

  • An animal bite was reported.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Leaving the scene of an accident was reported.
