The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, displaying plates of another person, driving while revoked, no insurance, failure to drive within a single lane, seat-belt violation and no tail lamps.

Arrests

  • Rodney L. Glover Jr., 27, 142 Sea St., was arrested at 211 Saint Francis Drive on a Probation Parole District warrant for probation violation.
  • Latita G. Miller, 44, 2819 Whitener St., was arrested at 110 N. Silver Springs Road on a Scott County warrant for larceny and driving while revoked.
  • Joshua E. Rowe, 36, 426 Bellevue St., No. 5, was arrested at 426 Bellevue St. on a Perryville, Missouri, warrant for stealing.
  • Arthur E. Morgan Jr., 19, 429 S. Hanover St., was arrested at Jefferson and South Henderson avenues on three Scott County warrants for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation and no car seat.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and violation of an order of protection.

  • Kara R. Hillhouse, 31, of Charleston, Missouri, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Thefts

  • A book bag, tool belt and tools were reported stolen at 333 N. Frederick St.
  • Theft of a purse and its contents and fraudulent use of a credit or debit device were reported at 1835 Westridge Drive.
  • Alcohol was reported stolen at Winks Mini Mart, 2017 Perryville Road.
  • A handgun was reported stolen at 1075 S. West End Blvd.

Property damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 338 E. Cape Rock Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A 31-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • An animal bite was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
