Cape Girardeau police report 6/11/14

CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Dakota E. Umfleet, 28, 3122 Themis St., Apt. B, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance, on a probation and patrol warrant for probation violation, on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for tampering with evidence and on suspicion of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

* Two suspects were in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, assault, exhibition driving, no driver's license and expired license plates.

* Andrew D. Goodwin, 33, 1423 Luce St., was arrested on a Buchanan County warrant for child neglect.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest and stealing pool chemicals at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Thefts

* A laptop computer was reported stolen at 419 S. Sprigg St.

* Elite Development, 2607 Prairie Lane, reported diesel fuel and scrap metal were stolen.

* Solar patio lights were reported stolen at 2310 Jean Ann Drive.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

* A 19-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card was reported.

* Assist other agency was reported.
