The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* John E. Duperier, 49, 1330 Bertling St., was arrested on an Illinois state warrant for failure to appear.

* David J. Best, 34, of Advance, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for fraudulent use of a debit device.

* Brittany M. Smith, 21, of Barnhardt, Mo., was arrested on a Jefferson County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for purchase/attempt to purchase or possession of liquor.

* Roland J.J. Rogers, 26, homeless, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest.

* Nathan L. Lavrrar, 32, of Marquand, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of concealment of contraband.

* Elizabeth A. King, 25, 820 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court.

Summonses

* Kendric J. Holder, no age given, of Advance, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to yield and prohibited turn.

* Logan M. Potter, no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for following too close.

* Quanisha N. Hunt, no age given, 27 N. Benton St., was issued a summons for striking a legally parked vehicle.

* David J. Cameron Jr., 20, of Florissant, Mo., was issued a summons for unlawful use of a driver's license and failure to use headlights when required.

* William A. Brown, no age given, 106 Edgewood Drive, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Assault was reported.

Thefts

* Theft of a laptop computer was reported at 478 Siemers Drive.

* Theft of a cellphone was reported at 334 S. Kingshighway.

* Theft and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device were reported.

* Somewhere in Time, 108 N. Main St., reported theft of jewelry.

* Theft of a debit card was reported at Wal-Mart, 3429 William St.
