The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Sydney M. Rapp, 21, 1301 Bertling St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive within a single lane at Broadway and Clark Avenue.

Arrests

  • Rhonda R. Allen, 44, 505 N. Kingshighway, No. 101, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and stealing assorted candy and laundry items at Dollar General, 724 Broadway.
  • Three suspects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing clothing and miscellaneous household goods at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of methamphetamine.
  • Darren P. LaFrance, 23, 225 S. Benton St., Apt. B, was arrested on suspicion of damaging four tires at 114 S. Benton St.

  • Assault was reported.
  • Domestic assault was reported.

Theft

  • Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device and theft of credit cards, a Galaxy Note 4, a backpack and its contents were reported at 234 N. Lorimier St.

Miscellaneous

  • Fraudulent use of a credit of debit device was reported.
  • A 47-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A 27-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
