The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Anthony E. Smith, 18, 409 Sheridan Drive, Apt. 5B, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

* Deandre M. Tipler, 18, 1201 Good Hope St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no operator's license, no seat belt, no proof of insurance, two counts of improper registration and false declaration.

* Sarah M. McFall, 26, 909 Hickory St., was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to return to confinement.

Summonses

* James R. McHaney, 79, 815 Themis St., received a summons for a leash-law violation.

* Scott T. Wigand, 46, of Jasper, Ind., received a summons for excessive weed growth.

* Jannett L. Wily, 48, 604 Jefferson Ave., Apt. 1, received a summons for trespassing.

Thefts

* A wallet was reported stolen from 333 N. Frederick St.

* A GPS unit and money were reported stolen from 1731 Whitener St.

* A check was reported stolen from 336 N. Park Ave.

* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of fuel.

* Food Giant, 1120 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of whiskey. Mark A. Stewart, 19, 1620 Scivally Drive, was arrested on suspicion of stealing and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Property damage

* The Cape Girardeau Police Department, 40 S. Sprigg St., reported a broken window in holding room B.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 227 S. Pacific St. Electronic goods and a rifle were reported stolen.

Miscellaneous

* A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for truancy.

* A 58-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 26-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
