The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Johnie P. Harrell, 61, 442 S. Spring Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
  • Trent P. Tanchek, 36, of Benton, Missouri, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for parole violation and burglary.
  • Michelle L. Daugherty, 32, 634 Woodbine Place, was arrested on an Alexander County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear for unlawful use of intoxicating compounds.
  • Kenny R. Reeves, 31, 63 N. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
  • Garmeisha D. Terry, 29, 722 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for noise disturbance.
  • Robert L. Thompson, 52, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Madison County warrant for public peace harassment and on a Fredericktown, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for expired plates.
  • Dianne M. Headspeth, 51, of Farmington, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for failure to maintain property free of litter.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • Alexandra L. Holland, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing at J.C. Penney.
  • Demarous T. Crawford, 19, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.

Summonses

  • Christopher J. Seyer, no age given, of Oak Ridge was issued a summons for striking a lawfully stopped vehicle.
  • Orley Jackson, no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

Thefts

  • Copper plumbing was reported stolen and boards and insulation damaged at 1218 William St.
  • Money was reported stolen at 2831 Whitener St.
  • A computer, televisions, sound board, iPad, fire stick and tablet were reported stolen at 505 N. Henderson Ave.
  • Taxi fare was reported stolen from Cape Transit Authority at 1300 Dunklin St.
  • A wallet and a cellphone were reported stolen.
  • Sunglasses were reported stolen and a motor vehicle tampered with.
  • Money was reported stolen at 164 Siemers Drive.
  • An Illinois license plate was reported stolen at 331 Bellevue St.
  • A GPS unit and firearm were reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.

  • A door was reported damaged at 25 S. Hanover St.
  • Attempted burglary was reported at 210 N. Louisiana Ave.

Assault

  • Assault was reported.

Property damage

  • A windshield was reported damaged at 2427 Cape Centre Drive.

  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • A 19-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A request for service was reported.
