The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Ashley B. Clary, 27, of Bell City, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing cosmetics at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Lance D. Sterling, 30, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.
  • Spencer L. O'Bryan, 17, of Jackson was arrested on a Vernon County, Missouri, warrant for harassment.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of violation of an order of protection.
  • Desiree A. Ajanel, 30, of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Lindsay K. Williams, 22, 312 W. Lorimier St., were arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing and cosmetics at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Luke A. Henrich, 31, 430 N. Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Breana C. Conner, 21, 11 Village Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana.

Summons

  • Yuki Sheikh, 22, of Cape Girardeau, was issued a summons for crossing the center lane of travel.

  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen at King Marine, 1225 S. Kingshighway.
  • Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 1923 N. Kingshighway.
  • Cash was reported stolen at Amoco, 3276 William St.
  • Stealing and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported at 1701 Lacey St.
  • Stealing was reported at Foutz Hunting & Fishing, 68 S. Plaza Way.
  • Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 300 Edgewood Road.

  • A 25-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • A request for service was reported.
  • Wood & Huston Bank, 111 S. Broadview St., reported the defrauding of secured creditors.
  • A violation of an order of protection was reported.
  • Forgery was reported.
  • A violation of an order of protection was reported.
