CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Brenton S. Miller, 24, 807 N. Sprigg St., No. 208, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for traffic offenses and on a Cooper County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for traffic offenses.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing food at Save A Lot, 121 S. Sprigg St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing food at Save A Lot, 121 S. Sprigg St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, possession of cocaine and possession of a controlled substance.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault on medical personnel and making a terrorist threat.

* Tony F. Watts, 26, of Cairo, Illinois, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for property damage.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing money at Dollar General, 724 Broadway.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing DVDs and alcohol at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

* Elizabeth M. Jessup, no age given, 331 Sandia Lane, was issued a summons for improper passing.

Property damage

* C&G Motor Co., 618 S. Kingshighway, reported a damaged vehicle window and the theft of a CD player and spare tire with cover.

Thefts

* Money was reported stolen at 259 N. Park Ave.

* A digital camera was reported stolen at 1829 N. Sprigg St.

* WIC vouchers were reported stolen at 1019 Harmony St.

Burglary

* Burglary and the theft of a television, laptop computer and jewelry were reported at 1713 Fremont Drive.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

* Assist other agency was reported.

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* Identity theft was reported.
