The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Larry Keith Smith, 36, no address given, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

* Stephan Dwayne Anderson, 32, 105 N. Clark Ave., Apt. 101, was arrested on a Poplar Bluff, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

Summons

* Taylor K. Eakin, no age given, of Bell City, Mo., was issued a summons for operating motor vehicle with suspended Missouri license.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

Thefts

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported theft of a computer.

* J.C. Penney, 3049 William St., reported stealing.

Property damage

* Property damage and stealing from a motor vehicle were reported at 301 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

* Failure to obey traffic control, failure to drive in a single lane, failure to yield and speeding were reported at South Silver Springs Road and Shawnee Parkway.

* Peace disturbance was reported.
