The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Otis James Causey, 68, of Oak Ridge was arrested at 2400 Veterans Memorial Drive on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Michael G. Mundinger, 51, of High Ridge, Missouri, was arrested at 1800 N. Kingshighway on a Jefferson County, Missouri, warrant for driving while intoxicated.
  • Toni Danielle Shavers, 30, 125 Clark Ave., was arrested at 105 Clark Ave. on three Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation.
  • Melissa Fay Smoot, 31, of Morley, Missouri, was arrested at Broadway and Caruthers Street on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Deandra Leeann Patterson, 18, 806 William St., was arrested at 400 S. Hanover St. on suspicion of disturbing the peace.
  • Claudia Latrice Morgan, 23, 429 S. Hanover St., was arrested at 400 S. Hanover St. on suspicion of disturbing the peace.
  • Catrina Michelle Guest, 35, 908 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for forgery.
  • Phillip Devin Traughber, 29, 3613 Old Hopper Road, was arrested at 3463 Armstrong Drive on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and displaying the plates of another vehicle.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of assault while on school property.
  • Lanija Danyee Patterson, 21, 2838 Independence St., Apt. 6, was arrested at 900 Jefferson Ave. on suspicion of disturbing the peace.
  • A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of disturbing the peace at 900 Jefferson Ave.
  • Jeremy Jacob Haynes, 27, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

  • Travis H. Fornkohl, 36, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal leash law and animal city license required at 19 S. Kingshighway.

Theft

  • A Husqvarna mower was reported stolen at 717 N. Middle St.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at Buckner Brewing Co., North Main Street and Broadway.
  • A window was reported damaged at 219 S. Pacific St.
  • A window was reported broken at 1006 Jefferson Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • Resisting arrest, driving while revoked, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, failure to stop for a red light and failure to stop for a stop sign were reported.
