The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Melanie G. Weakly, 28, 1076 Linden St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in one lane.

Arrests

* Holly L. Behsman, 42, 827 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.

* Denesha D. Walton, 22, 422 Bellevue St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.

* Kala R. Pelton, 22, 1750 Whitener St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.

* Raken S. Twiggs, 26, of St. Louis was arrested on four Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for leaving the scene, no operator's license or child restraint and on a Scott County warrant for passing bad checks.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of assault and burglary.

* Christopher D. Terry, 32, 117 Centennial Drive, was arrested on suspicion of child molestation.

* Matthew L. Martin, 31, 230 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Stephen B. Caldwell, 29, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Billy R. Fowler Jr., 36, of Scott City was arrested on five Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for false declaration and delivery or concealment of contraband, failure to appear for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for no insurance, failure to pay fine and cost for no operator's license and for failure to appear for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for improper registration, no valid driver's license and no insurance.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St. , reported food stolen.

* Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

* Bi-State, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* Money was reported stolen at 333 N. Frederick St.

Property damage

* A tree was reported damaged at 271 N. Lake Drive.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 1430 Independence St.

Miscellaneous

* A 44-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* A 54-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at 1000 Towers Circle.

Southeast Missouri State University

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

* A Wii, games, controllers, a Gamecube and a DVD player were reported stolen.

* A purse, wallet, two bank cards and perfume were reported stolen.
