Arrests

  • Sruthi Bairam, 22, 1318 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • Takara B. Woods, 23, 1227 Luce St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
  • Holly M. Pertuit, 36, of Wyatt, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
  • Quonisha S. Shaw, 20, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for failure to pay fines for stealing.
  • Jebrocskye Reneal Slack, 21, no address given, was arrested on a Sikeston, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for traffic offense.

Summonses

  • Charles George Hirt IV, 25, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.
  • John B. Hinni, 54, of Valley Park, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

  • A black 1995 12-foot homemade trailer and a red 2000 Arctic Cat 4-wheeler were reported stolen at 1813 Greenbrier Drive.
  • A cellphone was reported stolen at Morgan Oak and South Pacific streets.
  • Jewelry, a ladder and TV were reported stolen at 321 S. Pacific St.
  • A cellphone, Xbox and games were reported stolen.

Burglary

  • A door knob and dead bolt lock were reported damaged at Eclipse School of Cosmetology, 52 S. Plaza Way.

  • A violation of an order of protection was reported.
  • A 47-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
