The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Cuong Tien Le, 41, 2089 Chesapeake Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Arrests

• Walter Thomas Phillips, 22, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance.
• Charles Joseph Tauser, 57, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for indecent exposure.
• Clarence J. Smith, 23, 724 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for two counts of failure to appear for failure to pay fines.

Summons

• Dana J. Thiele, no age given, of Leopold, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Thefts

• Identity theft was reported.
• Identity theft was reported.
• Money was reported stolen at 1715 Georgia St.

Assault

• Domestic assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

• Sonic, 1602 N. Kingshighway, reported receiving a $10 counterfeit bill.
• Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported receiving $20 counterfeit bills.
• Assisting other agencies was reported.
• An animal bite was reported at 2820 Independence St.
• Forcible rape was reported.
