The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of burglary and stealing.
  • Charlotte M. Askue, 44, of Blytheville, Arkansas, was arrested on a Blytheville warrant for larceny.
  • Mohammed I. Alsowyed, 25, 547 Olive St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration and no insurance.
  • A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on a warrant.
  • Rashon J. Council, 18, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Wayne County warrant for possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Summonses

  • Amanda G. Lorhan, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway.
  • Mariena N. Conrad, 21, and Elizabeth B. Kelly, 18, of Cape Girardeau were issued summonses for shoplifting at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • Jeffrey D. Morrison, no age given, 1942 Delwin St., was issued a summons for following too closely and driving while suspended.
  • Doug LeGrord, no age given, of Chaffee, Missouri, was issued a summons for following too closely.
  • Briana D. Henry, no age given, of Essex, Missouri, was issued a summons for no insurance.

  • Identity theft was reported.
  • A change box and coins were reported stolen at 2011 N. Kingshighway.
