The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Beverly N. Jones, 48, 318 Mill St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear, a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks, a Poplar Bluff, Mo., warrant for failure to appear and a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for traffic offenses.
* Toby R. Turner, 33, 416 North St., was arrested on suspicion of assault and domestic assault.
* Malcolm Uriaa Harris, 19, 1204 Bloomfield Street, was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of assault on a law enforcement officer.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of burglary.
* Monica V. Brown, 37, homeless, was arrested on three Scott County warrants for failure to appear for passing bad checks.
* Domestic assault was reported.
* An iPod, debit card and wallet were reported stolen at 405 S. Hanover St.
* Identity theft was reported.
* A license plate was reported stolen at 1836 Broadway.
* A license plate was reported stolen at 1410 David Drive.
* A window was reported damaged at 120 N. Main St.
* Trespassing was reported at 1020 Independence St.
* A 58-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
* An animal bite was reported.
* Possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia were reported.
* Littering was reported at Cup 'N' Cork, 46 N. Main St.
* Violation of an order of protection was reported.
