The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Otis D. Rutherford, 25, 700 S. Benton St., was arrested on a warrant for probation/parole violation.

* A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of assault.

* Joe D. Davis, 26, of Mismark, Mo., was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for failure to appear for fraud -- insufficient funds.

Summonses

* April C. Whybark, 27, 723 William St., received a summons for a leash law violation, failure to display a city animal license, animal abuse and vicious animal.

* Lela V. Nalley, 34, and William D. Webb, 47, both of 301 Bellevue St., received summonses for noise violations.

Burglary

* A burglary, the theft of a laptop and money, and damage to a door were reported at 525 N. Silver Springs Road.

Thefts

* Identity theft was reported.

* A fence was reported stolen at 4 Rivermont Drive.

Property damage

* Damage to a padlock to a door was reported at College Street and South Henderson Avenue.

Miscellaneous

* A violation of an order of protection was reported.

* A 35-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 31-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

Southeast Missouri State University

The Department of Public Safety released the following item. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Theft

* A Trek 4300 mountain bike was reported stolen at Houck Stadium, 1117 Broadway St.
