The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Suspect was in custody pending formal charges of dangerous drugs, possession of controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Two juveniles were cited into juvenile court for assault at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.

Summonses

  • Shawn D. Stockard, 22, of Jackson was issued a summons for not keeping private property free of litter.
  • Emma L. Foster, 36, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal leash law required.
  • Melvin C. Johnson, 38, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for display of certain prohibited items and not keeping private property free of litter.
  • Erica M. Keller, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to yield.
  • Trevon M. Buckner, no age given, of St. Louis was issued a summons for striking the rear of a legally stopped vehicle, leaving the scene, no insurance and driving while suspended.

  • A purse was reported stolen at 1426 Clark Ave.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 807 William St.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
  • Copper downspouts were reported stolen at 401 Independence St.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • A cellphone was reported stolen at 513 N. Fountain St.

Property damage

  • Televisions were reported damaged at 1400 S. West End Blvd.

Miscellaneous

  • Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
  • An animal bite was reported at 2254 Kingsway Drive.
