CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Elizabeth R. Stroud, 27, 216 S. Missouri Ave., was arrested on suspicion of filing a false report.

* Carmella A. Johnson, 24, 228 S. Ellis St., Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at 716 N. Sprigg St.

Summonses

* Nikki R. Lane, no age given, of Kennett, Mo., was issued a summons for improper backing.

* Alexandria N. Allen, no age given, of Chatham, Ill., was issued a summons for improper turn.

Thefts

* Target, 202 Siemers Drive, reported a Bose Solo sound system stolen.

* Medication, a charging cord, CDs and sunglasses were reported stolen at 2005 Old Sprigg Street Road.

Property damage

* A windshield was reported damaged at 750 New Madrid St.

* Cotner Electric, 2049 Southern Expressway, reported tires damaged.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

* A 33-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
