The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Tommy S. Dudley, 57, 510 N. Fountain St., was arrested at 618 Lafayette Place on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.
  • Garmeisha D. Terry, 30, 722 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • Clarence Brown Jr., 31, 412 Koch Ave., was arrested at 1925 Broadway on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while revoked or suspended and forgery.

Summonses

  • Anthony N. Lucas, 29, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for driving while revoked, no insurance and expired plates at U.S. 61 and Kurre Lane.
  • Joshua A. Locke, 32, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal neglect at 1513 Themis St.

  • Theft was reported at 11 S. Kingshighway.
  • Theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • A 2007 maroon Chevrolet Tahoe was reported stolen at 2826 Whitener St.

Property damage

  • Damage to a fence/posting was reported at 38 N. Hanover St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 39-year-old woman was taken into protective custody at Themis and North Main streets.
  • Forgery was reported at South Mount Auburn Road and Independence Street.
  • Trespassing was reported on South Henderson Avenue.
  • Violation of an order of protection was reported.
