The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Lesley A. Reetz, 33, 1334 Ashland Hills Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Hunter C. Givens, 27, 2209 Lakewood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Dearra L. Owens, 20, 350 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Quashawn R. Flye, 19, 28 N. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing a headband at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Three suspects were in custody pending formal charges of burglary and possession of marijuana.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and possession of marijuana.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, driving while revoked, expired registration and speeding at Southern Expressway and West End Boulevard.

Summons

  • Renada N. Brown, 35, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for nuisance declared at 1808 Hutson Drive.

Assault

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • Miscellaneous items were reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • A firearm was reported stolen at 511 S. Kingshighway.
  • Clothing was reported stolen at Macy's, 3049 William St.

Property damage

  • A window was reported damaged at 315 S. Park Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • Possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia were reported.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
  • A 49-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • An animal bite was reported.
