Cape Girardeau police report 3/23/16

Editor's note: Charges in Cape Girardeau Municipal Court against Prasanth Thiaigarajan and and Mohietosh Singh Gill were later dismissed after the publishing of this police report.

CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Brandon Willis Fritsche, 21, of Frohna, Missouri, was arrested at Koch and Bloomfield streets on suspicion of DWI.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of receiving stolen property, making a false report, probation violation, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of marijuana.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
• Jessica Jean Howell, 20, of Scott City was arrested at 513 N. Fountain St. on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Justin William Harper, 21, 513 N. Fountain St. Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an animation-controlled drug.
• Kaleb Ryan Williford, 24, of Charleston, Missouri, was arrested at Interstate 55 and LaSalle Street on suspicion of DWI.
• Claudia Latrice Morgan, 23, 429 S. Henderson St., was arrested at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., on suspicion of false declaration, trespassing and stealing.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

• Mohietosh Singh Gill, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for assault at 1126 N. Sprigg St.
• Prasanth Thiagarajan, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for assault at 1126 N. Sprigg St.
• Gregory Steven Stroup, 53, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for leash-law violation/no city license at Cape LaCroix Road.
• Mary Hannah Knight, 58, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for leash-law violation/no city license at 2105 Timothy Circle.

Assaults

• Domestic assault was reported.

Burglaries

• Burglary and theft of wheels and tires were reported at 832 S. Kingshighway.
• Burglary and theft of chairs, dolls, a horse saddle, assorted antiques and a 1983 Honda Aero were reported at 321 N. Broadview St.

Thefts

• Property damage and theft were reported at 365 Broadview St.
• A washer and dryer were reported stolen at 1027 N. West End Blvd.
• Money was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
• Medication was reported stolen at 712 S. Pacific St.
• A car battery was reported stolen at 1325 N. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

• A 30-year-old man was reported missing.
• Arson was reported at 410 Marie St.
• A 58-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Violation of an order of protection was reported.
• Accidental death was reported.
• An animal bite was reported at 2607 Azalea Lane.
• Interference with custody was reported.
• A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• An unattended death was reported.
