The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* George E. Johnson, 39, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while revoked, driving while intoxicated and failing to stop at a red light.
* Dylan W. Neal, 20, 806 Hackberry St., received a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign and driving while intoxicated.
* Malanie A. Swift, 24, 1617 Whitener St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for dangerous drugs.
* Subjects were in custody pending formal charges of shoplifting at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.
* Shannon R. Mungle, 49, 307 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
* Rape and burglary were reported.
* Domestic assault was reported.
* Domestic assault was reported.

* Damage to miniblinds and a window screen was reported at 1068 Linden St.
* Red Box reported damage to a DVD at 1 S. Kingshighway.
* A violation of an order of protection was reported.
* An animal bite was reported at 401 Independence St.
* Forgery and the fraudulent use of a credit/ debit device were reported at 3254 William St.
* A violation of an order of protection was reported.
* A 34-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
* A 52-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A violation of an order of protection was reported.
