The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* David Lajuan Hightower, 29, 123 N. Clark Ave., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to appear for false declaration and failure to appear for violation of a steady signal.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of forgery.
* Cassandra Nichole Abbott, 18, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance.
* Benjamin Randal Davis, 33, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
* Eugene L. Dodds, 22, 1020 Bloomfield St., No. 1, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
* David F. Bailey Jr., 25, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear.
* Eve E. Andrews, 48, 550 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.
* Antoine Zontae Austin, 21, 219 S. Pacific St., Apt. B, was issued a summons for nuisance party.
* Charlene L. Hansen, no age given, 535 Boxwood Drive, Apt. 1, was issued a summons for no proof of insurance.
* Zachary M. Politte, no age given, of St. Louis was issued a summons for failure to yield.
* Stephen L. Fronabarger, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for leaving the scene and failure to show proof of insurance.
* A tablet computer was reported stolen at 119 Independence St.
* Identity theft was reported.
* Fred's Discount, 121 S. Sprigg St., reported DVDs stolen.
* A broken window, a clothes dryer that was broken into and money stolen were reported at 319 N. Frederick St.
* Burglary, stealing and property damage were reported at 630 Good Hope St.
* The Cape Girardeau County Health Department, 1121 Linden St., reported a door damaged.
* Assault was reported at 348 N. Park St.
* Rape was reported.
* A 28-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* Resisting arrest, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle were reported.
* Hindering prosecution was reported.
