Cape Girardeau police report 3/12/14

CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Larry K. Smith, 36, of Jonesboro, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for trespassing.

* William D. Webb, 49, 269 Lorimier St., was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Gregory L. Johnson Jr., 31, of Mound City, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

* William Wayne Welch Jr., 28, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for nonmoving traffic violation.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of inhaling solvents.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault.

Summons

* Omar M. Al-Dahhan, no age given, of Ballwin, Mo., was issued a summons for striking a parked vehicle.

Theft

* A wallet was reported stolen at 15 N. Main St.

Assault

* Forcible rape was reported.

Property damage

* A windshield was reported broken at 414 Independence St.

* A vehicle hood was reported damaged and a battery was reported stolen at 605 Good Hope St.

Miscellaneous

* A 50-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 49-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
