The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Michael W. Bell, 42, 406 Albert St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, and assault on a law enforcement officer.
  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges for driving while intoxicated, possession of controlled substance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests

  • Elizabeth A. King, 26, 1109 S. Giboney Ave., and Cody L. Webster, 19, 335 E. Cape Rock Drive, were arrested on suspicion of stealing at 3439 William St.
  • Brittney L. Watts, 25, 3 Village Drive, was arrested on a Miner, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Thomas W. McRoy, 36, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Matthew A. Cook, 27, 1014 Bloomfield St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation.
  • Jonathan D. Holley, 32, of Kelso, Missouri, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for fraud/failure to appear.

Summons

  • Keyesha K. Hamilton, no age given, of Hayti, Missouri, was issued a summons for no insurance and improper lane usage.

Thefts

  • Money was reported stolen at 449 S. Kingshighway.
  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges for stealing/fraudulent use of a credit/debit device.

Assault

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Domestic assault was reported.

Property damage

  • A walker was reported damaged at 211 St. Francis Drive.
  • Property damage was reported at 215 N. Sprigg St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 36-year-old male was placed in protective custody.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • A 1988 silver Chevrolet 1500 was reported towed from West End Boulevard and Scott Street.
  • A 23-year-old male was place in protective custody.
  • Misuse of 911 was reported.
  • Found property was reported.
  • A violation of order of protection was reported.
