CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of marijuana; possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute; unlawful use of drug parphernalia; and failure to illuminate a license plate at William Street and Silver Springs Road.
• Cole Anthony Burnett, 19, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Academy Sports, 270 Shirley Drive.
• Timothy Leon Luttrull, 47, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Menards, 353 Siemers Drive.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
• An iPhone was reported stolen at 2517 Saddleridge Lane.
• A Samsung Galaxy phone with case was reported stolen at 3049 William St.
• Theft was reported at 1457 N. Main St.
• Theft was reported at 1141 Landgraf Drive.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 2933 Bella Vista Drive.

Miscellaneous

• Assist another agency was reported.
• Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at 1624 N. Kingshighway.
• A 56-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A request for service was reported.
