CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges of resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked at Broadway and Lacey Street.
• A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges of assault, resisting arrest and trespassing at 3439 William Street.
• A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges for robbery, domestic assault, assault and burglary.
• Janel L. Johnson, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

Summonses

• Austin T. Burton, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident.
• Andrew L. Vanklaveren, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Damon A. Washington II, 20, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for indecent exposure and a minor in possession.
• Yin Huan L. Cai, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at 3439 William St.
• Dana D. Newell, 40, of Park City, Kentucky, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident.
• Daphne M. Edmonds, 48, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for a nuisance animal.

Thefts

• Shoplifting was reported at 315 Shirley Drive.
• A flashlight was reported stolen at 2850 Whitener St.
• Shoplifting was reported at 3439 William St.
• A motor vehicle was reported stolen at Normal Avenue and Pacific Street.

Burglary

• Burglary was reported at 1346 Howell St.

Assault

• Charges are pending for domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Miscellaneous

• A 1993 white Pontiac Grand Prix was reported towed from 801 Good Hope St.
• A violation of order of protection for an adult was reported.
• A 41-year-old female was placed in protective custody.
• A 49-year-old male was placed in protective custody.
• An animal bite was reported.
• Resisting or interfering with arrest was reported.
• A request for service was reported.

Arrests

• Farris W. Adams, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended.
• Scott K. Ingram, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and an Alexander County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked and driving while suspended, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to wear seat belt.
• Kenric G. Heisserer, 53, of Old Appleton was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
• Bruce E. Salmon, 53, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no seat belt.
• Angela D. Solak, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for assault.
• Derek A. Jackson, 34, of Gipsy was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
• Shawn A. Hammock, 23, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
• Bradley A. Nielsen, 53, of Burfordville was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for insufficient funds check, a Perry County warrant for failure to appear for fraud, a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear for fraud and a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for fraud.
• Robert J. Reynolds, 31, of Whitewater was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and no insurance.
• Jerry L. Carter, 51, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for burglary.
