The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Brian T. Blattel, 31, 2216 W. Cape Rock Drive, was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

* Anthony W. Mathis Jr., 28, 319 N. Park Ave., Apt. A-003, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no insurance.

* Matthew D. Dees, 40, 1101 Good Hope St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation and forgery.

* Samuel M. Cook, 22, 520 N. Fountain St., No. 5, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Joseph D. Razor, 19, 212 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of tampering.

* Benny Junior Benavente Jr., 26, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a suspended license.

* Casey Ellen Clay, 28, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Miner, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

* Joseph D. Razor, 19, 212 S. Ellis St., was issued a summons for stealing DVDs, Wii games and a bag from Toys R Us, 210 S. Silver Springs Road.

* Rachel Rae Russell, 35, 1433 N. Water St., was issued a summons for a leash law violation.

Thefts

* Medication was reported stolen at 1014 Bloomfield St.

* A tan 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier with dealer plates was reported stolen at 618 S. Kingshighway.

* Macy's, 3049 William St., reported assorted purses stolen.

Burglaries

* Burglary and the theft of an Xbox, Xbox games, a Wii, Wii games and money were reported at 831 S. Ranney Ave.

* Burglary, a damaged lock and the theft of clothing were reported at 530 S. Pacific St.

Assault

* Domestic assault and assault were reported.

Miscellaneous

* Interference with custody was reported.

* Service was requested.
