The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Gage M. Shipman, 17, 1013 Emily Court, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for seat belt violation.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting/interfering with arrest and driving while revoked.

* Michael T. Council, 42, 631 Themis St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for distribution of a controlled substance.

* Timothy C. Duffey, 48, 1800 William St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear and a Stoddard County warrant for fraud.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of hindering prosecution.

* A suspect was in custody pending charges formal of assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Summonses

* Stephanie J. Brown, no age given, 121 E. Rodney Drive, was issued a summons for no insurance and failure to yield.

* Thomas J. Goldman, no age given, 700 Normal St., was issued a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* Theft of Missouri license plates and tabs were reported at 1701 Lacey St.

* Sides Metal and Recycling, 80 N. Broadview St., reported scrap copper stolen.

* Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported theft of cold medicine.

* A&A Rental, 1214 Meadowbrook Lane, reported failure to return leased or rented property.

Property damage

* Property damage and damage to a purse were reported at 2845 Independence St.

Miscellaneous

* Saint Francis Medical Center, 211 St. Francis Drive, reported an ampul of fentanyl medicine lost.

* An 18-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
